Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup butter unsalted, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar for sweetness and golden color
  • 1 cup brown sugar adds caramel flavor
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract adds aroma
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour for structure
  • 1 tsp baking soda helps cookies rise
  • ½ tsp salt balances sweetness
  • 1 cup blue sprinkles for fun and color

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until fully incorporated.
  • Fold in the blue sprinkles with a spatula.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
