Ingredients
1
pound
ground beef or turkey
Grass-fed beef is juicier, but any will work!
1
cup
breadcrumbs
Italian breadcrumbs add extra flavor!
1/2
cup
diced onion
Fresh is best, but frozen works too!
1/2
cup
ketchup
For that sweet tangy goodness!
1/4
cup
barbecue sauce
Your favorite kind for the best flavor!
1/4
cup
milk
Keeps the meatloaf moist!
1
egg
Acts as a binder!
1
tsp
garlic powder
Because garlic makes everything better!
1
tsp
salt
Just enough to give it a kick!
1/2
tsp
black pepper
Or more if you're feeling spicy!
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, ketchup, barbecue sauce, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined.
Shape mixture into a loaf and place on a lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
Bake for 45-55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle extra barbecue sauce on top if desired.
