Barbecue Meatloaf

A juicy and flavorful meatloaf with a smoky barbecue twist!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey Grass-fed beef is juicier, but any will work!
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Italian breadcrumbs add extra flavor!
  • 1/2 cup diced onion Fresh is best, but frozen works too!
  • 1/2 cup ketchup For that sweet tangy goodness!
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce Your favorite kind for the best flavor!
  • 1/4 cup milk Keeps the meatloaf moist!
  • 1 egg Acts as a binder!
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Because garlic makes everything better!
  • 1 tsp salt Just enough to give it a kick!
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Or more if you're feeling spicy!

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, ketchup, barbecue sauce, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined.
  • Shape mixture into a loaf and place on a lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle extra barbecue sauce on top if desired.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the seasonings or try different sauces for a unique twist!
